"Life sucks but everything's funny."
Celine Marie Brøndmo is a 22 year old American-Norwegian artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. As the child of a painter and an investor she had the chance to see different perspectives of the world, but was encouraged by both parents to express herself through creativity since an early age. Celine's art is diverse - she paints, makes sculptures, illustrates, makes digital illustrations and in her free time she even makes tattoos for her friends. She is inspired by her daily life, by political events and by philosophers, whose theories about life and existence she likes to reimagine in her own way and tries to put them on canvas. Growing up in Norway she grew fond of nature, particularly the sea, which is a returning motif in her art (illustrated as well as sculpted). She likes the duality of it, she says, how it represents life, but it can also be cruel and dangerous.
